Marathon Training Day 316: Run, Run, Run

In nearly 4 weeks I will be running my second half marathon, the Canby Dahlia Run. I feel like my leg has fully recovered from the injury, but I am still a little behind on training. Tonight I planned to run 13.5 miles, but instead ran 8 miles because I didn’t want to be out too late. I will (hopefully) attempt 13.5 miles this Wednesday.

I felt really good when I stopped running tonight after 8 miles, so that is a good sign. I did not run fast … it took 84 minutes to run 8 miles. While that is much slower than my half marathon pace, it was injury free so I’ll take it!

I am raising money for Womenspace, a domestic violence and advocacy group in Eugene Oregon. If you have not done so already, I would love your support. None of the money goes to me… it goes to Womenspace. My Eugene Marathon, the Canby Dahlia Run, and the full Seattle Marathon are all being used to help raise money for Womenspace.
